SparkCam · Anonymous video chat

Anonymous video chat, no name required

Anonymous on SparkCam is not a vague promise — it is a specific set of defaults: no name shown, no profile required, and nothing carried over between matches. Here is exactly how it works, and how safety controls keep it from turning into a free-for-all.

Start an anonymous match

No name, no profile required

Your match sees you show up as a live video feed, not a name or a bio. Nothing is displayed unless you choose to share it during the conversation.

Each match starts fresh

There is no running history for the other person to scroll through. Every new match begins from zero, so past conversations do not follow you around.

Skip anytime, no trace

Leaving a match takes one tap and needs no explanation. Anonymity means you can walk away as easily as you joined.

Location stays private

SparkCam does not broadcast your location to the person you are matched with, so anonymous does not mean exposed.

Anonymous does not mean unsafe. SparkCam keeps skip, report, and block one tap away in every session, so leaving an uncomfortable match never depends on knowing who the other person is.

Anonymous video chat — FAQ

Does anonymous video chat mean no one can see my face?

No — anonymous here means your identity (name, profile, contact details) is not shown, not that video is hidden. You are still on live camera with your match, but under your own terms about what you reveal beyond that.

Does anonymity make SparkCam less safe?

Anonymity and safety are handled separately. Skip, report, and block stay visible in every session, so you can act immediately if a conversation feels wrong — you do not need to know someone identity to remove them from your experience.

Can I choose to share my name later?

Yes. Anonymous is the default, not a restriction. You control what you share and when, on a conversation-by-conversation basis.

Is anonymous video chat the same as random video chat?

They overlap but are not identical. Random video chat describes how you are matched; anonymous chat describes what identity information is shown once you are matched. SparkCam combines both by default.
